The 2026 MVP Space Race is set to lift off and brighten the new year skies at Dick Lawrence Park in Fremantle. We aim to take on two rounds of 20 holes, aiming for aces only. Each astronaut who signs up will receive two discs: a Particle Eclipse Crave and the brand-new Eclipse Atom, both glow super bright. Festivities begin at 5:30 PM, with a pre-launch sausage sizzle to keep the crew fueled for the mission ahead. The first round of cosmic competition launches at 6:30 PM. Between rounds, we’ll fire up the thrusters with a single bonus event this year: the Distance Competition, challenging players to send their discs into deep space. During the Space Race, we’ll be hunting for aces only. Scoring is simple and stellar: 1 point for metal 3 points for a basket hit 5 points for a pure ace All tracked across three divisions, each with its own prize haul. As dusk settles and the skies dim, the second round will launch around 7:45 PM, so we can try our glow discs. After the final landing, we’ll honor the top navigators in each division with awards and a payload of prizes. Plenty of discs are up for grabs—so bring your A-game and prepare for launch.
