The Icebreaker 2025 – Presented by Pro.G.I.
Mundaring Sporting Club Disc Golf
July 20
Welcome to The Icebreaker 2025 - Presented by Pro.G.I. We are looking forward to ADGC in November and providing the WA locals an opportunity to play their division's event layout on both courses 4 months in advance. This event will be run at a lower entry cost than most events as we would love to have as much player participation and feedback on the new holes as possible for future course development and to help "tread in" the course ahead of November. Keep an eye out for Busy Bee information down the bottom if you are available and keen to lend a hand.
Please register and pay as soon as possible to make your TD's life a little bit easier :)
World course adjustments and world course new amateur holes designed by Blake Houston (Designer of Chichester Pro), with assistance for the amateur holes by TD Connor Donnelly.
This event is on the WA Disc Golf Tour
Weather Based Adjustments – Added 18:30 18/7/25
Based on frequent checking of weather forecasts ahead of Sunday, we are making a choice to adapt some aspects of this event to minimise the amount of water we will be trudging through and maximise our enjoyment levels on the course:
- Online players meeting Saturday 17/7/25 at 7pm on Youtube (link will be sent out tomorrow) that players will be able to join and ask questions that may need to be answered before the event, saving time in the morning for sleep and play. There will also be separate pre-recorded videos for course notes/layout breakdowns linked at once
- Earlier Tee Time of 8:15 (formerly players meeting time, so same arrival time at MDGC)
- 2 course used for both rounds to limit backups and traffic
- Mix of 3 and 4 person cards in round 1 depending on length and difficulty of the course
- FREE sausage sizzle provided to all players (cooked to be ready for the shortened lunch period, saving players needing to travel into Mundaring)(Please contact Connor at [email protected] with dietary requirements)
- Option to Check in/register in the morning via physical check in to clubhouse, Udisc check in system or Text to 0450848235 (Connor) Confirming arrival in the morning so you can park directly near your hole and save yourself a detour
Please Contact the Event team at either [email protected] or [email protected] if you have any issues, queries or concerns, as we will need to be very particular with cards/groups and their coordination. These slight time adjustments should save us from being affected by the rain beyond a damp towel, with the weather worsening later in the day. Please do your best to acquire plenty of fluids, snacks and other things you may need tomorrow, as you will struggle to sneak away on Sunday for it. We will have the bar open with some very light snacks and plenty of drink options available, a (FREE) Sausage sizzle and event title sponsor Pro.G.I. with a stall on sight that will have plenty of their fantastic protein balls available to stock up if needed.
The new schedule for Sunday is available at the Website so please double check that to make sure you know what is happening. Keep an eye for more email information, and let your friends who are bad at checking emails/socials know what is happening.
Thank you all for your understanding in these unfortunate and potentially difficult circumstances, and know that we are making these choices we believe are in the best interest and enjoyment of all our players for The Icebreaker 2025 – Presented by Pro.G.I.

Sponsors
Massive thanks to our Title sponsor for coming on board. Pro.G.I. is a delicious, nutritious, convenient, and most importantly, evidence-based protein ball. It tastes amazing, is SO easy to grab-and-go, really is good for you and crucially, they have the science to verify it all. Founded and owned by Bsc Exercise Scientist and local disc golfer Michael Jansz, Pro.G.I. protein balls are the perfect solutions for disc golfers needing easy, efficient energy solutions on and off the disc golf course. We are stoked for the support of Michael and hope our players and members are as excited about this awesome partnership that we are. Keep an eye out for the Pro.G.I. stall up in the clubrooms on Sunday, they will have the perfect solution for a last minute extra snack for the course.

Course Layouts
ADGC 2025 BLACK - World Course
View Map on UDiscLayout for on World Course
The world/back course will have some adjustments after World Team Championships, Aussie Open and other events’ player feedback. The Pro layout will have 3 Basket position and Par changes, 1 new Tee and new out of bounds systems on holes 1, 16, 17 and 18 with the intention of creating more accurate scoring separation for the Australian Disc Golf Championship Professional divisions, and addressing pace of play issues we have had during previous events. Local Pro Blake Houston has made some great adjustments that we feel all players will enjoy.
